Some Mummy Loves You

I got the There She Goes Clear Stamps Hauntingly Delightful stamp set awhile back......way before Halloween was on my brain, but now is the perfect time of year to ink it up!

I made this card "just because."  No design team assignment, no challenge.....just because I wanted to and THAT hasn't happened in awhile!

I stamped the image onto X-Press It blending card and colored it with copics (E43, E41).  I added some shading under his feet to ground him (C1, C00).  I used some Bazzill Card Shoppe peanut cluster and licorice twist CS.  I added some cool black net ribbon and wrapped up with some natural jute from the Ribbon Carousel.

Happy long weekend!

Ribbon Carousel and Nikki Sivils Blog Hop

The Ribbon Carousel Crewmates are teaming up with the talented designers from Nikki Sivils Scrapbooker  to bring you a blog hop jam packed with crafty eye candy and some prizes to sweeten the pot at the end of the rainbow.....or ummmm, hop.

At Nikki Sivils, Scrapbooker, we create distinctive and original designs. Our designs are based upon two core beliefs which also serve as the foundation for our company and everything we do to support it.
We believe that scrapbooking, card making and crafting are always:
  • Authentic artistic expressions
  • Created with love
Our designs are driven by imagination; we strive to be different, not for the sake of being different, but to inspire you to express yourself in meaningful and fun ways. We mix elements from different sources, including styles, colors and materials. Our designs are genuinely eclectic. Our papers use vibrant colors with unique patterns and often contain irresistible characters. We are authentic in intention, action and results. We have achieved our goal if you are inspired (and tickled) when you see our paper.

I am playing along with some gorgeous DP from the Nikki Sivils Audrey Collection Kit.
I colored up this adorable Whimsie Doodles image called Cafe Lizzie with my copics.  I paired the pretty DP with some Bazzill Card Shoppe peanut cluster, candy bar, butter mints, and candy corn cardstock.  The sentment is from the PTI Warm Wishes Too stamp set.  I added some walnut brown vintage seam binding, a cream button, and some natural jute.

RCC68 - Back to School

This week over on the Ribbon Carousel Blog, the Crewmates are challenging you to create something with a back to school theme.  This gave me a chance to get a jump on making little token gifts for the kids to give to their teachers on the first day of school.

I made this post it note holders.  So quick and easy, but they are always a big hit!  I bought the clear acrylic frame for 89 cents at the the Christmas Tree Shop.  I adhered some DP from the MME School Daze 6x6 paper pad onto the frame, adhered the post it notes, and then tied some red cotton twill ribbon around the top.  I rolled up some matching DP and put it inside the barrel of the RSVP pen.

Here's a front view of it.

Head on over to the Ribbon Carousel blog to play along with us
and link up your creation there!

Today is the FINAL day of the There She Goes Blog Hop Challenges where we give you some sneak peeks of the August stamp sets that will be released tomorrow night!

Torico has created the most adorable moving set,  which we think will help to ease the pain of moving just a little! Most people do NOT like to move, and this super cute set has an image and sentiment for every occasion, whether you be the one moving, or if you are sending one to a friend or family member. With a major transition such as moving, a hand stamped greeting is JUST the thing to say goodbye, hello, or just a plain welcome to the neighborhood….and there’s a DOG!!!!

On the Move is a 6x8 set that includes a total of 22 stamps and will sell for $24.00.

I stamped the image onto X-press It blending card and colored the image with copics.
I paired some Bazzill Card Shoppe peanut cluster, candy bar, marshmallow, and sour lemon CS with some DSP from the Bo Bunny Camp-a-lot 6x6 paper pad.  I paper pieced his shirt to give him a plaid shirt.

Skin - E11, E00, E000

Hair - E57, E53
Har - G46, G43
Pants - E44,E43,E41
T-Shirt - E43, E41
Shoes - E59, E57, E55, E53

There She Goes Blog Hop Challenge - Donkey University

Today is the day we kick off the 4 day There She Goes Blog Hop Challenges leading up to the release of the August stamp sets Saturday night!

A while back, I used the Ba-Donkey-Donk stamp set and made THIS card
for the Mother of Blog hops.  Melyssa loved the idea and has now created a new set for us with many options to dress up our donkeys!

Our favorite new animal at There She Goes is the Donkey, and this month Melyssa has found great new ways for us to dress up our Donkey however we see fit. With his super cute tee shirt, and several sayings, you can send Donkey to the University, or just let everyone know what a STUD he is!! We hope you love this set as much as WE do, because believe me, we are in LOVE!!

Donkey University is a 4x4 set that includes a total of 13 stamps and will sell for $10.00.

I stamped the images onto X-Press It blending card, colored them with copics and then cut them out.  I stamped the image a few more times so that I could paper piece the T-Shirts and I popped up the donkeys snouts with foam dimensionals.   I paired some DP from the Echo Park This and That Charming 6x6 paper pad with some Bazzill Card Shoppe peanut cluster, candy bar, circus peanuts, and icy mint CS. I added a bit of natural jute to embellish.

Would you like to win the new Donkey University  stamp set? Here is what you need to do- visit the Trendsetter’s blogs that are participating in each of the blog hop challenges below and comment on their creations as you go. One of the Trendsetter’s blogs (from each hop day) will be randomly chosen as the ‘it’ blog and a winner will be picked using a random number generator from the comments left on that Trendsetter’s Blog Hop Challenge post.
