MOJO269 - Happily Ever After

I know I am not the only one who couldn't resist all the Black Friday sales in crafty cyber space.  All of my little purchases are starting to come in!  While I REALLY should be working on my design team work to keep ahead given that December is a busy month, I couldn't help but drop everything and ink up one of my new purchases.

I have been eye balling the adorable Tiddly Inks CLEAR stamp sets for quite some time.  Black Friday gave me an excuse to pull the trigger so I bought the Happily Ever After set.

I paired some PP from the MME Lost & Found Ruby 6x6 paper pad with some Baxxill Card Shoppe licorice twist and some PTI sweet blush CS. I used my MFT Die-Namics circle STAX to cut out the heart and I did some fussy cutting so I could pop the couple up with foam dimensionals.

Season's Greetings Tag

With Thanksgiving behind me,now I can turn my attention to Christmas!
I love adding some handmade tags when wrapping Christmas gifts.
Today I made a few of these cute tags using both the There She Goes Ho Ho Ho stamp set and the Season's Greetings stamp set.

I die cut the tag using the PTI Tag Sale #3 die from Bazzill Card Shoppe peanut cluster card stock.  I used a stipple brush and some PTI fresh snow ink.  I do think it is the best white ink around.  It really provides a lot of coverage.  I tore some white CS to create the drifts of snow and added some slitter to the edges.  I colored my images with copics and glittered the edges of the layers of branches.  I popped the reindeer up with a foam dimensional and then added some white opal Liquid Pearls at his feet and at the base f the tree.  I quickly added some glitter to the Liquid Pearls before they dried.  I used some dark brown hemp cord for the tag.

We've got a new challenge for you this week on the Kraftin' Kimmie blog!  This week's theme is "Feeling Festive" so lets see a Christmas card or Holiday card from you!

I inked up one of the adorable images from the Holiday Lulu and Libby stamp set.

I colored the image with copics and added some clear star gelly roll pen to the bell and the belt buckle.  I heat embossed the snowflakes on the Bazzill Card Shoppe peanut cluster background with white embossing powder. I used some PP from the Echo Park This and That Christmas and paired it with some Bazzill Card shoppe waw lips and licorice twist card stock.  I used the MFT Die-Namics circle STAX sets 1 and 2.

I am also playing along with the MOJO Monday 268 challenge.

TSG Blog Hop Challenge - Snow Buddies & Snowman Sentiments

Our final day of Blog Hop Challenges for this release, and we have two FABULOUS sets from Melyssa!! Let's get started!!

Snowbuddies, the new set from Melyssa, has SO many possible ways to be used; we can’t even begin to tell you how excited we are about it! With a whopping 57 stamps, you can build your own snowman, use one provided, or a little of both. It’s the easiest way to build a snowman, and you don’t even have to get cold to do it. ;)

I went CAS for this card.  I didn't intend to and I was sifting through my 6x6 paper pads.  I put the image down on the card base to look and VOILA!  It was just too cute as it so I stepped away from the PP.   I sponged some clouds behind the snowmen and did some masking so I could layer one slightly in front of the other,   I paper pieced the scarf and colored the rest of the image with copics.  I tore some paper and glittered the edges to create the snow mounds.  The CS is Bazzill Card Shoppe icy mint and licorice twist.

bodies - C2, C1, C00, colorless blender

Snow buddies  is a 6x8 set that includes a total of 57 stamps and will sell for $24.00.

What’s a snowman, without a SUPER cute and TOTALLY clever sentiment to go with it…well, we don’t want to know! The Snowman Sentiments set has 9 fabulous sentiments to coordinate with your Snowbuddies set, or any holiday set you want!

Snowman Sentiment is a 3x4 set that includes a total of 9 stamps and will sell for $9.00.

Would you like to win the new Snowbuddies or Snowman Sentiments stamp sets? Here is what you need to do- visit the Trendsetter’s blogs that are participating in each of the blog hop challenges below and comment on their creations as you go. One of the Trendsetter’s blogs (from each hop day) will be randomly chosen as the ‘it’ blog and a winner will be picked using a random number generator from the comments left on that Trendsetter’s Blog Hop Challenge post.

Ribbon Carousel and Whimsie Doodles Blog Hop

The Ribbon Carousel Crewmates are teaming up with the talented designers from Whimsie Doodles to bring you a blog hop jam packed with crafty eye candy!

We will be helping to show off some of the amazing digi stamps AND some ribbon and twine from the Ribbon Carousel, of course!

Here’s a little about our sponsor:

Whimsie Doodles is so excited to be blog hopping with the RC! In March of 2009 Melyssa Connolly, artist and owner, began turning her whimsical hand-drawn images into digital files for sale online. Whimsie Doodles' digital stamp line features images that range from cute little boys and girls, to punny stuff, and everything in-between. We enjoy sharing lots of samples on our company blog, where we also post challenges and tutorials.

We are huge fans of Melyssa here at the RCC! And can you guess why? Aside from the fabulous designs and amazing artwork from the Whimsie Doodles team, Melyssa is the designer of the carousel in our previous logo!

Here is my card using the adorable Lizzie's Pumpkins image:

I stamped the A Muse woodgrain background stamp in Momento rich cocoa ink onto the Bazzill Card Shoppe peanut cluster CS panel and mated it with candy bar CS.  I used my MFT-DieNamics  oval STAX die to cut out my image and then added some brown swiss dot satin ribbon.
