All You Need is Love

Did you know that 7 Kids College Fund now carries stamps and dies from My Favorite Things?!?!  Yep!  I am so excited!  If you love to color, you will love MFT's new Doodle Garden line!

I just LOVE this Doodle Garden "Far Out" stamp set.

I stamped the image in Momento tuxedo black ink onto X-press it blending card.  I stamped the image a 2nd time and colored just her pants.  I added some colorless blender to a piece of towel and blotted the pants to create the texture.  I colored the original image and paper pieced her textured pants onto her as well as the heart.  I added some shimmer to the peace sign on her pants and the center of the flower with a clear star gelly roll pen.

TSG Release Hop - Lucky Duck and Hooked on Quack

Welcome to DAY 1 of the There She Goes Release Blog Hop challenges!

If it walks like a duck, and talks like a duck…well, it’s probably a Lucky Duck!! Ok, that was corny, but this SUPER cute set by Torico will make you squee with delight…could it get any cuter? Lots of ducks, and stamps to build the perfect scene, it’s so versatile.

Lucky Duck is a 4x8 set that includes a total of 24 stamps and will sell for $18.00.

While brainstorming the sentiments for Lucky Duck, as always, we took a turn for the dark side…..what else can I say besides this set is ducking awesome.

Hooked on Quack is a 3x4 set that includes a total of 7 stamps and will sell for $9.00.

Of course I HAD to use one of the naughty sentiments from the Hooked on Quack stamp set. LOVE IT! I stamped my image in Momento tuxedo black ink onto X-Press It blending card. I colored the ducks with copics (Y18, Y15, Y13, Y11, YR18, YR16, YR15) and fussy cut them out so that I could pop them up with foam squares. I paired some PTI white and MFT black licorice CS with some patterned papers from the Echo Park "Scoot" 6x6 paper pad.

Would you like to win the new Lucky Duck /Hooked on Quack stamp sets? Here is what you need to do. KKS169 and RS53- You're MAG-nificent

Happy Saturday!  Hopefully you will have a little down time to do a little stamping this weekend.
This week I am the hostess with the mostess for the Krafin' Kimmie Challenge #169.
This means I got to pick the challenge and much to the dismay of my fellow Krafty Girls who seemingly poop paper flowers, I made this a CAS challenge.  Yep.   I have challenged us to create a little something clean and simple.

I describe my style as clean but not so simple, so I had to try and tone myself down a little but, too.
I am combining this challenge with the Retro Sketches Challenge #53 as well.

I inked up this super cute image from the World of Wonder stamp set to play along.
