SPDSS23 - Muchas Gracias

It''s time for another SugarSketch Challenge!  I inked up one of my favorite SugarPea Designs stamp sets to play along.  It's the Let's Fiesta stamp set!

I chose some patterned papers from the Simple Stories Say Cheese 6x6 paper pad and paired it with some PTI white and MFT black licorice card stock.

I colored my image with copics and added a swirly clip to embellish.

Here is the sketch:

The rules are very simple…
Create a new card or project using the SugarSketch provided.

It's finally here!  The second release from By DIEzyne Dies.  We are celebrating this weekend on Passionate Paper Creations and Friends Facebook Group and C.C. Designs Facebook Group.
We are kicking everything off with a really big blog hop!

We have the C.C. Designs DT here today to share their creativity with the new By DIEzyne Dies. You can find By DIEzyne Dies by clicking HERE

My card features the new Diezyne Half Brackets die set and the C.C. Design Carrot Love rubber stamp an the Hopped Up sentiment stamp set.

Here is close up or the panel I created with the Diezyne Half Brackets die set.   I ran the die through the die cutting machine twice and overlapped the pieces to create a matting.  Don;t you love the pierced look?

Here's a close up of the Carrot Love image.  I colored him with copics and used a white gel pen to add the freckles to his cheeks.

Happy Spring!

Here in Boston we beat our all-time record for snowfall this season with 108.6 inches.  Yep.  That is a whole lot of snow.   Spring officially returned yet it continues to snow for the 1st 2 days of spring.   So annoying!   BUT, I am trying to will spring to show its presence here is Boston by creating springy cards!

My card today features the Spring Medley rubber stamp from the A Random Fan line of stamps at C.C. Designs Rubber Stamps.

I used the the C.C. Designs Flowing Flowers stencil to create that background with some texture paste that I tinted with a re-inker. I have a tutorial posted on the C.C. Designs blog today if you are interested in learning this technique!  Once the texture paste dried, I used a white gel pen to add the centers to the flowers.

I also used the white gel pen to add the freckles to her cheeks.

SugarPea Designs Flashback Friday

Today the SugarPea Designs DT is going all retro for "Flashback Friday" and doing a little creating with some of the stamp sets released in 2014.

With Easter upon us, I decided to ink up last year's

I just received a stash of new patterned paper pads so I was looking forward to using them.  I chose some papers from the Simple Stories "Vintage Bliss" 6x6 paper pad.   I heat embossed the sentiment.

I stamped my image in Momento tuxedo black ink and colored it wth copics.  I used a white gel pen to add the polka dots to her dress.

I am entering this card in the Mojo Monday challenge #389.
