RS154 - Special Delivery

I have not played along with a challenge outside of my design team work in quite a while.  I loved the simplicity of the new Retro Sketches #15 so I decided to play along with some of my SugarPea Designs goodies.

I started by using the SugarPea Designs SugarCuts - Notched Heart Journal Card.  I popped the die cut up with foam dots over another white panel that I matted with black.  I then ran the same die through the Big Shot and this time saved 3 of the little heart from the negative cuts.  I popped thise 3 hearts up with foam dots and placed them back into the die cut.   The sentiment is from the SugarPea Desigs Special Delivery stamp set.  I stamped it in Momento Luxe Love Letter ink, matted with black card stock and layered over red card stick.

Here is a side view so that you can see the dimension of the card.

Thinking of You

Checkin' in to share with you a card I created with some of the
newest products in the C.C. Designs store.

Febstorepost-KO

I started by using the new C.C. Designs Dots Stencil and some embossing paste to create the background.  I steered clear of stencils for a long time..........too long.  Now I love them!  If you haven't tried them, you should!   You can use embossing paste, inks, watercolors, and gelatos with them!  They are so much fun!

I stamped the Pollycraft Pixie image in Momento tuxedo black ink and colored her with copics.  I used a clear Wink of Stella glitter marker on her wings and the undercoat of her dress.   I used a white gel pen to add freckles to her cheeks and the polka dots on her dress to echo he polka dots of the stenciling.   I dotted the dandelion with glue and sprinkled with Twinklets Diamond Dust.

SPDSS20 - You Lost a Tooth!

Welcome to this week's addition of the SugarSketch Challenge!
We've got a fun sketch for you to get those creative juices flowing!

I played along with the very sweet  "Fairy Sweet" stamp set.

I chose some patterned papers from the Maja Designs Vintage Spring Bascis 6x6 paper pad andpaired wi with some PTI white card stock and some MFT steel grey card stock.

In this close up, you can see how I used a clear Wink of Stella glitter pen to add some shimmer to the fairy, her wand and the little star die cut I created with a star from the SugarCuts - Gift Tag.

I stamped the image again on the inside and only colored the star in her wand.  I stamped the sentiment in Momento tuxedo black ink.
