DS136

Welcome to this week's addition of the Deconstructed Sketch challenge!
This week I am playing along and using the sketch as inspiration for my latest Valentine's Day Card!

I inked up the MFT Pure Innocence Guess Who Loves You.

I stamped the berrylicious CS panel with the MFT plaid background builder stamp set in berylicious and sweet tooth ink and stamped the cotton candy pink CS panel with a stamp from the MFT Darling Dots stamp set in cotton candy ink.  I stamped my image in Momento tuxedo black ink and colored her with copics.  I added smoe pleats to her shirt for added interest.

I used the MFT Die-namics fishtail flags STAX to create the sentiment panel.  I die cut the heart from razzle berry felt using one of the MFT Die-namics ristic hearts.  I added a black licorice button and twine to embellish.

Make a Wish

I never seem to have enough birthday cards on hand so I am trying to make an effort to build up my stash.
I made this CAS birthday card featuring the MFT Pure Innocence  Make a Wish.

I started by die cutting the "wish" using the Die-namics By the Letters.  Then I stamped part of the sentiment from the PI Make a Wish stamp set above the "w."

I popped this panel up with foam dots before adhering to the wild cherry  CS card base.

I stamped my image in Momento tuxedo black ink and colored her with copics and added soem depth t the shading with a black General pastel chalk pencil.  I added polka dots to her dress using a white gel pen.

For the inside of the card, I added a strip of sour apple CS across the bottom and stamped another sentiment from the PI Make a Wish stamp set. in black licorice ink.  I stamped the dandelion from the Dandelion Wishes stamp set in wild cherry and sour apple ink.

DS135 - Let Your Hair Down

This week's Deconstructed Sketch is being sponsored by Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps so I am playing along with an image from the new Once Upon a Time 3 stamp set.

Rapunzel!  Rapunzel!  Let down your golden hair!   I loved coloring her dress!   I stamped the image in Momento tuxedo black ink and colored her with copics.  I paired some MFT banana split and smooth white with some Doodlebug Design "Hello Spring" 6x6 paper pad. I used the MFT Die-namics Fishtail Flag STAX and circle STAX.

Here's the sketch:
