7 Kids College Fund Challenge - Hexagons

Ready for a new 7 Kids College Fund Challenge?

I decided to ink up Some Odd Girl's "Birthday Mae" and I put my MFT Die-Namics Hexagon dies to good use.

I ran the Bazzill Card Shoppe marshmallow panel through the Big Shot in a Darice stripes embossing folder to add some texture.  I chose some PP fro the Echo park Happy Everything 6x6 paper pad and layer the hexagons .  I did some fussy cutting so I could pop Mae up as well as the sentiment.

Alicia Loves Reading

Happy Friday!  I just LOVE coming home on Friday after a long week of work.  I am Clinical Social Worker at a psychiatric hospital.  By the time the work week comes to an end, I can't get home and into my crafting uniform (AKA fleece pajama bottoms and sweatshirt) fast enough!

Today I came home to message from Alicia Alva who recently opened a digital stamp shop called Alicia's Little Shop.  She asked me if I would be willing to make a card with one of her images to use as a sample to promote her digis.  They are super cute and looked fun to color so I was game.

Fleece pajama bottoms and sweatshirt - check!
Copics - check!
Glass of wine - check!
I am ready to color!

I chose to color up Alicia Loves Reading.

I colored the image with copics and fussy cut her out.  I decided to create a little room so I paired some PP from Authentique Thankful 6x6 paper pad with some Bazzill Card Shoppe candy bar and butter mints CS.  I popped her up with foam sqaures to add dimension.  The sentiment is from the MFT Clearly Sentimental about Books stamp set.

It has been a LOOOOOOONG time since I played along with the Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge.  I do love KarenGiron's sketches......and Karen Giron!

I have new stash of Tiddly Inks stamps thanks to my new friend Christy Croll who sent me a package of her adorable stamps!   I have always loved Christy's images, but I must admit.....I prefer to ink up my stamps as opposed to using digis.  So, I was thrilled when she began selling clear stamps! She just released some clear stamp sets which I promptly ordered this morning.  :)

When brainstorming The Doxie with Moxie set, there was a lot of chatter about sentiments…and some of them took a turn for the funny, but…risqué, lol! We couldn’t live without them, so we decided to create the Size Matters set. It’s not for everyone, but it’s definitely funny!!
