SCRSC110 - Neon

Today wraps up my guest designer stint for Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps.  It was a fun ride and a honor to have played along with the DT this month!

This week's challenge is to use neon colors.  I don't own any of the fluorescent copics so I had to resort to some paper piecing with some neon papers by Recollections that I found at my local Michael's.  I played along with Swimming Lucy.  

Since I didn't any markers with which to shade the tube.....and it was making me crazy....I resorted to adding a little shading with a black General's pastel chalk pencil.

KKS189 - You're Fairy Sweet

It's time for another Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps challenge 

and the theme of this week's challenge is "Things with Wings."  

I am playing along with this adorable fairy from the Pretty Little Pixies stamp set which I paired wit a sentiment from the Kimmie's Fairy Sentiments stamp set.

I stamped the image nto X-Press It blending card and colored her with copics.  I fussy cut her out and added some Crystal Stickles to her wings.   I chose some PP from the  My Mind's Eye "Howdy Doody" 6x6 paper pad and paired it with some MFT whip cream and hot fudge CS.

The new Amalia stamp set from Megan Suarez…just gorgeous!! Not only is Amalia a ballerina, but now she is a fairy as well!

Amalia’s Daisy Fairy is a 3x4 set that includes a total of 3 stamps and will sell for $9.00.

I stamped my images in Momento tuxedo black ink onto X-Press It blending card and colored it with copics.  I used a white gel pen to add the polka dots and used a clear star gelly roll pen to add some shimmer to the fairies wings.  I used a yellow viva decor pearl pen to create the centers of the flower in her hair.  The PP is from the Echo Park Bundle of Joy Boy 6x6 paper pad and the card base is Bazzill Card Shoppe jelly bean CS.
