SHUT THE FRONT DOOR!

Just a couple of days ago, I received some BIG NEWS!  Thank goodness I didn't have to keep this a secret very long at all!  That would have been sheer torture!

I have been invited to join the Designed to Color Challenge Crew!

Designed to Color

Designed to Color is bi-monthly magazine dedicated to coloring in the crafting world!   As a colorist, I never bothered to submit to those crafty magazines out there because they rarely featured colored images.  FINALLY, we have a magazine that is 100% geared towards colorists like myself!  All mediums are welcomed and featured in the magazine!

I am THRILLED that my first publications are in the October / November issue and I have also had 4 cards picked up for the December / January issue!  If you want to subscribe to the Designed to Color Magazine in either print or digital form, you can do it HERE!

The February / March submission call will soon be posted on the Designed to Color blog so be on the look out!  Be sure to "like" the Designed to Color Facebook page so that you don't miss any news!  Go ahead and submit!  All levels and mediums are welcomed!

As part of the Designed to Color Crew, we will be bringing you monthly challenges!  Our first challenge kicks off on November 15th so be on the look out for that!  Now head on over to the Designed to Color blog to see who else is part of this Crew!

You Suck (How's that for a catchy title?)

Once a month on the There She Goes Blog, we take a look back at some awesome TSG stamp sets in hopes of bringing you fresh inspiration and perhaps introducing you to some of our best-selling stamps. Kraftin' Kimmie October Release Preview - Winter Trinkets

The weather is getting a little cooler....we're putting away our flip flops and shorts and pulling out our fuzzy sweaters and warm socks!! We're celebrating winter at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps ...and lots more!! (You'll have to wait until later in the week to see what other themes we have up our sleeves!!) Get ready for our OCTOBER 2012 RELEASE!!!!!

We are kicking off the *New* OCTOBER Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps previews today and first off, we’d like to introduce you to a beautiful new set of Trinkets!!! We are very excited to share with you our….WINTER TRINKETS!!!

These circular sentiment stamps have been created and designed by the totally talented Krafty Girl, Nicole Aspinall!! They are made especially to fit in your 1 3/8ths and 1 ¾ inch punches, for quick and easy cutting!!! This month we are releasing the WINTER Trinkets set which includes EIGHT trinkets in each set with four of each size and they come as both positive and negative images, so you can use your black or brown ink with the positive stamps and use your coloured inks with the negative ones!! You will get the set as a completely unmounted full sheet of deeply etched grey rubber.

All of the Krafty Girls are cardmakers primarily and we have found these to be such a quick and easy way to add a sentiment to our creations or to use as the focal point on our cards! They are also perfect for your Smashbook pages and your scrapbook pages, not to mention your altered items and tags!! No stamper's stash is complete without them!

If you follow my blog, you may have seen the hot cocoa holders I made last week.  You can see them HERE as well as the directions on how to make them.  When I got my hands on the new Winter Trinkets, I had to make some more!

This Winter Trinket is PERFECT for hot cocoa holders!  I stamped the the trinket twice onto Bazzill Card Shoppe butter mints CS in Momento rich cocoa ink.  I used a 1" circle punch to pop out the center of of the trinkets so that I could pop it up with a foam square and layer it over the 2nd one for added dimension.  I used my copics to color the mug.  I popped out he 2nd stamped trinket with a 1.75" circle punch and layered it over a 2" scallop circle.  I used Bazzill Card Shoppe wax lips CS and PP from the Echo Park Season's Greetings collection.   I added some olive / lime two-tone grosgrain ribbon from the Ribbon Carousel.

TSG Blog Hop Challenge - Just For You Halloween Additions

We are now on day two of this month's SPECIAL Halloween release, and today we have something I think you are going to LOVE!! It's another twist on an older There She Goes set, and we are SUPER excited about it!!

Introducing Just for You - Halloween Additions!

I made these fun hot cocoa holders with this new stamp set and die!
They are so easy to make!
  1. Adhere a piece of 4 1/2 x 7 3/4 piece of cardstock over a 5 1/2 x 7/3/4 piece of card stock.
  2. Score it at 1/2" from one end and 3 5/8 from the other end.
  3. Fold along the score lines and use some red line tape so secure it.
  4. Round the bottom two corners with a corner chomper
  5. Use a hole puncher to punch a hole at the top.
  6. Thread the ribbon through the holes and then push a hot cocoa packet down into the holder.
  7. The ribbon keeps it from falling out of the bottom.
  8. Tie the ribbon in a bow to keep the hot cocoa from falling out of the top.

Created by Torico to go along with the original Just For You set, this Halloween Additions set is perfect for all your Halloween gift giving needs. Not only has she created some of the CUTEST images and sayings, there are now DIES to go along with it!!

*The circles can be punched out with a 1 3/8 in. punch
*There will be a total of four dies to go with this set. One for each of the big shapes and then a set of nesting banner dies.

Just For You-Halloween Additions is a 6x8 set that includes a total of 28 stamps and will sell for $24.00.

Just For You Dies are a 4 piece set and will sell for $31.50.

Would you like to win the new Just For You-Halloween Additions and Matching Dies? Here is what you need to do- visit the Trendsetter’s blogs that are participating in each of the blog hop challenges below and comment on their creations as you go.
