Today my fellow 7 Kids College Fund Design Team members and I have put together a blog hop for you loaded with crafty goodness featuring DoCraft products from the store!
Though I made this card and set up the blog post a week ago, I am back in here editing the post this morning as it struck me how appropriate this card is for a day like today here in the Boston area. It has been a heart wrenching week for all Americans, but having this happen in your own back yard is surreal. My heart goes out to the victims of the senseless crime and their grieving families, the first responders who saved so many lives, and the amazing police officers, state troopers, FBI agents, and the National Guard members who methodically tracked down these twisted shells of human beings who did this to us. You are our heros. Boston stands strong! If you have not seen this yes, please watch. It'll give you goose bumps.
Here's my card featuring the Wellington 8x8 Clear Stamp and Wellington 6x6 paper pad:
And I have to show you the inside of the card because this sentiment from the stamp set is so sweet!
I stamped the image in Momento tuxedo black ink onto X-Press It blending card and colored it with copics. I fussy cut the image and layer it over some of the patterned paper. I added some natural jute and used that little tag stamp and sentiment from the stamp set.
hair - E35, E53, E51
skin - E11, E21, E00
dress - BV25, BV23, BV20
shirt - E09, E07, E04, E41
