DS160 - Happy Happy Birthday

This week's Deconstruced Sketch challenge #160  is being sponsored by My Favorite Things!!
MFT is offering a $25.00 gift certificate to one lucky Deconstructed Sketch participant!! Here's what you need to do to be entered into the drawing:
  • Create a card using DS160.
  • Upload it to your blog, PinterestFlickrSplitcoaststampers or other online gallery using the keyword DS160
  • Link your project up on the Deconstructed Sketch blog by July 23, 2014 at midnight CST.
  • The winner will be announce on Friday July 25, 2014.
  • Good Luck!

I played along with some of the newly released MFT stamps and Die-namics!

I decided to flip the sketch on its side.   I stamped the red hot panel with the new Birthday Background stamp in black licorice ink.  I die cut the balloons using the new Die-namics Balloon STAX and I anchored them with some hemp cord.  I added highlights using a white gel pen.

I stamped the new Pure Innocence Happy Banner and cut her out using the coordinating Die-namics

Here is the sketch:

I am also entering this card in the ColourQ #250 challenge:

Head to the Deconstructed Sketch blog to play along and link up your creations for a chance to wni the $25 MFT gift certificate!  Be sure to check the creations of my fellow DT members for some inspiration!
