And just like that, the MFT May release has officially launched in the MFT online shoppe! Are you trying to fine tune your shopping list? Haven't pulled the trigger yet? Well, I've got a few more things to show you and so do my fellow design team members! We're each featuring one of the new products to show you why you need it! I am going to show you the ever so versatile Pinstripe Background stamp. Yep, you need it like you need air. ;)
I die cut the circles with the Die-namics Stitched Circle STAX from pink lemonade CS and then stamped them with the Pinstripe Background stamp in pink lemonade hybrid ink. I adhered the circles onto the kraft CS panel and used the direction of the stripes to create movement. I matted that panel with hot fudge CS and popped it up with foam dots. I stamped the Pinstripe Background stamp again onto the whip cream CS in hot fudge hybrid ink to create the vertical border.
I stamped the sentiment from the Gift Card Greetings II stamp set in hot fudge hybrid ink onto the sentiment panel I created with the Die-namics Fishtail Flag STAX from whip cream and hot fudge CS.
And here is the inside of the card created with the Pinstripe Background stamp and the Die-namics Stitched Circle STAX.
Here is my 2nd card:
I used the Die-Namics Lightbulb. I colored the socket piece with copics and I sponged some lemon drop ink around the edge of the lightbulb. I popped it up with foam dots over the circular panel that I die cut with the Die-namics Stitched Circle STAX.
Here is my 2nd card:
This time I started by die cutting three panels from lemon drop CS with the new Die-namics Vertical Stitched Strips and then I stamped them in lemon drop ink using the Pinstripe Background stamp. I cut the strips to give me space to stamp the sentiment from the Watt's Up stamp set in black licorice ink.
For the inside I repeated the process of stamping the panels with the Pinstripe background stamp and added a smooth white panel matted with black licorice CS.
Last up is a Father's Day Card.
I started with a sno cone CS card base. I used the new Die-namics Vertical Stitched Strips to create the nightshift blue panel. I matted with wild cherry CS. I stamped the sentiment from the Clearly Sentimental about Fathers stamp set in nightshift blue ink.
I used a die from the Die-namics Suit and Tie to die cut the tie from sno cone CS. I then created the pattern by stamping wild cherry and nightshift blue ink with the Pinstripe Background stamp. I popped the knot of the tie up with a foam dot.
I used the Pinstripe Background stamp again to create the border on the bottom of the sentiment panel and matted with wild cherry CS. I stamped the sentiment from the Clearly Sentimental about Fathers stamp set in nightshift blue ink.
