I am sharing a card I made featuring the new Wendy Burns stamp set called "It's a Pirate's Life!"
How fun is this?! This card actually took me quite a bit of time to make. There were a lot of steps involved to pull this together. I started by using the largest die from the Die-Namics Blueprints 11 to create the smooth white panel. I used a die cut from the Die-namics Wonky Scallop Border as a template for clouds and I sponged on some berrylicious ink. I wanted to have the ship sitting in between the rolling waves. S, I stamped the image onto the sky next. I also stamped it again on a separate piece of paper.
Next, I hand cut what is the back row of rolling waves, sponged some sweet tooth ink along the edges to give the look of breaking waves, and then adhered that partially over the stamped image. I then colored the image on that separate piece of paper and fussy cut each piece out and paper pieced it onto the image on the card. I used a white gel pen to add some stripes to the clothing. Then I added the top row of rolling waves on top of that.
I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark ink and heat embossed the sentiment in white so it would pop off the nightshift blue waves.
For the inside, I just continues with the theme of rolling waves.
Next up, I used the "It's a Pirate's Life" stamp set to make these custom invitations!
This time I paired some wild cherry, nightshift blue, and smooth white CS. I colored my image with copics and used a white gel pen to add the stripes to the clothing and flags.
And then I created these coordinating thank you cards to send out after the party!
I used the Distressed Hearts stamp set and coordinating Die-namics along with an image from the It's a Pirate's Life stamp set. I heat embossed the sentiment from the Pure Innocence Cornucopia stamp set in white.
