I am re-joining the C.C. Designs Design Team!
I designed for the team back when it was called "All That Scraps" for all of 2012. I left to take on new adventures, but here we are 2 years later and I have found my way back! I am huge fan of C.C. Design images AND they carry other favorite lines of lines of mine like Kraftin' Kimmie, Roberto's Rascals, Pollycraft, A Random Fan, and the beautiful sentiment sets by Amy R. Stamps! They also carry dies, and card stock, and patterned paper,and more! I look forward to designing with all of the goodies in the store!
Though my term officially begins in January, I created a little something today to celebrate my announcement by coloring up the adorable C.C. Designs Swiss Pixie Birgitta's Snow Heart.
I paired some MFT kraft card stock with some patterned paper from the Carta Bella Bundled Up 6x6 paper pad. I added some brown ribbon and hemp cord to embellish.
I colored my image with copics. I die cut the image and then sponged on some Tim Holtz chipped sapphire and tumbled glass distress ink around here. I used a stippling brush and some MFT sweet tooth ink to stipple on the falling snow. I tore a piece of white card stock to make the snow and then partially die cut it. I cut the cardstock around her feet so that I could slide the "snow" piece behind her feet and I lined up the stitching with the original die cut. This saved me from having to fussy cut the entire image. I then added some Aleene's True Snow sprinkled with glitter under her feet and onto her heart snowball, I used a white gel pen to add the freckles to her feet and the polka dots to her to scarf.

Yep, following, following and following. Love this, so cute! I just picked up some more stipple brushes, I think I might try my hand at that snow, it's so perfect. Congrat's on finding your way back on the design team, I look forward to seeing your fabulous creations!!!
