Creative Color Challenge #1

Calling all you color challenge addicts!   SugarPea Designs is happy to announce that we will now be hosting a monthly color challenge with a prize up for grabs for one lucky participant!   Welcome to our first Creative Color Challenge and the colors for our first challenge are pink, kraft, yellow, and green!

I decided to make a sweet little tag for a baby gift:

I used the SugarCuts - Gift Tag to die cut the tag.  I attached the white grosgrain ribbon with a yellow button and some hemp cord.  Now I can't tell you from where those patterned papers come since they were just scraps I had.  That is the beauty of these color challenges.  You can use up your scraps! 

I used the Welcome Baby stamp set to stamp the onesie and the heart and "girl" across the chest.   I then die cut the onesie with the SugarCuts - Welcome Baby Accents.  I stamped the sentiment at the bottom of the tag from the Bundle of Joy stamp set.  I popped the onesie up with foam dots and used a white gel pen do some faux stitching along the circular panel.  

The rules are very simple…

• Create a new card or project using the colors provided.  SugarPea Designs stamps are NOT required to play along or to win but would be appreciated

A Sparkling Birthday

I had some time to do a little more crafting this weekend so I decided to ink up the C.C. Designs Swiss Princess Birgitta.  

I die cut the image using the C.C. Designs Cutter Princess Birgitta Outline Die and used the accessory star dies  that come with it to create the stars around her.  

I gave her dress some shimmer with a clear Wink of Stella glitter marker.   The sentiment is from the  C.C. Designs Magical Wishes Sentiments.

Time to Party

Happiness is a 3 day weekend and some stress free time to do a little crafting! 

Today I created a birthday card featuring one of the newest C.C. Designs images called Swiss Banner Heidi and the coordinating Cutter Banner Heidi Outline Die.

I used the the little banner dies that come with the outline die and some twine to create the banner.   

I added the dots and stripes on the banners with a white gel pen.   The sentiment is from the C.C. Designs HB2U sentiment set. 

I colored the image with copics and Generals Pastel Chalk Pencils.  Again.  I used a white gel pent o add the polka dots to her clothing.

New Arrival

I am in LOVE with the new little rocking horse from the SugarPea Designs SugarCuts - Welcome Baby Accents!  I created THIS card for a baby boy, but now I wanted to create a card for a baby girl using the same SugarCuts die.   

I chose some patterned papers from the Echo Park Bundle of Joy Girl 6x6 paper pad and paired it with some MFT natural and pink lemonade card stock as well as some PTI white card stock. 

I stamped the sentiment from the SugarPea Designs Bundle of Joy stamp set in kraft ink onto the sentiment strip I created using the SugarPea Designs SugarCuts - Gift Tag.  I added a few rhinestones to embellish.
