Card Purse

Here are the supplies I used to make this set:

Card Stock:  pretty in pink, whisper white, old
olive, chocolate chip, and so saffron
Ink:  pretty in pink and chocolate chip
Punches: XL Fancy Flower and 1/2" circle
Dies:  top note  die and little leaves sizzlet
Stamps:  polka dot background stamp and With all my Heart
Embossing Folder:  perfect polka dots
Ribbon:  pretty in pink 5/8" satin ribbon
Adhesive:  sticky strip and multipurpose liquid glue

Jazz up your flip flops with the help of your Big Shot!

Every papercrafting addict should have a Big Shot! I embellished these flip flops using some glitter foam, the SU daisies #2 die, and buttons.  A quick run through the Big Shot and you've got yourself an inexpensive embellishment that can be adhered to the flip flops with a glue gun or some E6000 glue!  I made these as favors for my daughter's birthday party.

Top Note Gift Card Box

Here's a great way to present a gift card to someone as a gift that makes it seem all the more special!  I found directions to make this box here:  Top Note Gift Card Box video tutorial

I used pretty in pink card stock for the box and top notes and layered it with DSP.   I stamped the cake from the Happy Moments stamp set onto watercolor paper with StazOn ink and used my watercolor crayons to color the image. Chocolate chip gosgrain ribbon ties it all together!

Give the gift of wine with your crafty twist!

I bought my friend her favorite bottle o' wine for her birthday and decorated the bottle with the Upsy Daisy stamp set using melon mambo and summer sun ink.  I added some polka dotted melon mambo ribbon and some melon mambo card stock punched with the eyelet border punch.  I created a coordinating gift tag using the scallop circle punch and a build-a-brad.

Making the coordinating candle is SO easy!  I stamped the same image on some white tissue paper and wrapped it around the candle.  Wrap a piece of wax paper around the candle and use extra so that you have some to grab to tightly wrap the candle.  Use your heating tool to melt the tissue paper into the candle.   You will be able to see the change in color when it has absorbed into the candle and quickly move on the next section to prevent dripping of wax.  Remove the wax paper from the candle and tie some coordinating ribbon around the candle.  I wrapped the candle in cellophane to present it.

Acrylic Post-it Note Stand

I made this acryllic post-it note stands to sell at a craft fair and all 20 sold within 2 1/2 hours!  I charged $5, but suspect that I could have charged more.  I bought the 4x6 acryllic frames for 89 cents at the Christmas Tree Shop, the pens at Staples, and the post-it note pads at Target.  They are easy to make! 

I simply used my SNAIL adhesive to adhere some DSP to the frame and then embellished with ribbon and in this case, the sweet pea felt embellishments. I used some sticky strip to attach the post-it note pad. Once the pad is depleted, a new pad can esily be added with some double sided tape. I used my paper piercing tool to roll my coordinating DSP to put it inside the barrel of the pen. To keep the pen in place, I tied some sheer ribbon around the frame. It can just rest on top of the post-it note pad once it makes it way to its new home.

Baby Bundle onesie flower card

I am hooked on making 3D flowers and this time I used a cute onesie stamp from Stampin Up's new stamp set called "Baby Bundle."  The color combo is not typical for baby girl cards, but that is what I like about it!

Supplies:

Card stock:  whisper white, pretty in pink, pixie pink, and old olive

Designer Paper: old olive

Ink: prett in pink, picie pink, and StazOn jet black

Ribbon: old olive satin ribbon

Tools:  Big Shot, polka dotted embossing folder, nestabilities small scalloped circles, ticket corner punch

Adhesive: Snail adhesive, glue dots,sticky strip, and stampin dimensionals

Stamp set:  Baby Bundle

To make this 3D flower, cut out two scalloped circles in pretty in pink card stock using the nestabiities small scalloped circle dies. Sponge the edges with pixie pink ink. Cut at every indent to create the petals. Adhere the 1st layer of your flower with a glue dot. Adhere the top layer of the flower with stampin dimensionals.

Sunny Summer Thank You Card

Given that Stampin Up has gone through a color renovation, I wanted to put my new Color Coach to good use.  I started with daffodil delight and used the colors recommended to pair with that. This was the result and I love it! You can't go wrong with a 3D flower!

Supplies
