This week for the Paper and Such Challenge the theme is May Flowers.
While I consider my style to be clean but not so simple, I do love the look of a CAS card and so lately I have been challenging myself to step away from the crafting table much sooner than I normally would.
I inked up the Paper and Such Poppies set for this challenge.
I started by stamping the section of the poppy stamp tat I want to used and then I masked it. I stamped some text from the the PTI Background Basics: Text Style stamp set over the masked image. I used a cicle nesties to cut it out. I colored the image and then I stamped it again and cloroed one of the petals again, cut it out and adhered it with pop up dots to give the flower more dimension.
Here is a close up of the flower:
I stamped the sentiment and then rounded 2 corners of the card with the corner chomper.
Now c'mon and play along with us! There aren't a whole lot of rules here....because, well....
we want you to have fun and not have to worry about rules!
~ so....here are just a few stipulations ~
You can use any image, from anywhere in the whole entire world.
You may enter twice for each challenge - just to keep it fair.
Link up your creation on the Paper and Such Design Blog!
There's a prize up for grabs!

Wow, I love what you've done with the flower. And the background lettering gives it such a classic look.
