ISSC07 - Scootin' by to say hi

We've got a great sketch for you this week on the iSpy Sketches Challenge blog!  If you haven't played along yet, now is the time!  We're only in our 2nd month since this challenge blog was born and we are gradually picking up some followers. Spread the word to any of your crafty friends who are sketch-o-holics!  This sketch challenge blog is like no other!  The sketches are really unique and make you put your crafty noggin to use.

This week we are being inspiration by the super talented Holly McMillen who is one of my fabby teammates from the There She Goes Clear Stamps DT.  Our sketch is based on of THIS beautiful card of hers:

WOW!  Gorgeous, huh?  And here is the sketch based on Holly's card:

And here is my take on the sketch:

Same layout and 2 cards with completely different feels to them.  THAT is why I love sketch challenges!  It is really fun to see how different artists interpret the sketch.  

I inked up the There She Goes Clear Stamps Scootin' By stamp set to play along this week.  I colored her up with my copics.  I paired her with some PTI pure poppy and ocean tides CS and some DSP from the MME Dilly Dally  6x6 paper pad.  I stamped the sentiment in Momento rich cocoa.  I added some PTI pure poppy twill ribbon to embellish.  

Here's how to play:

• Create a paper crafting project (card, scrap book page or 3D item), based on the sketch provided.
• Post your creation on your blog or an online gallery (using a code ISSC02), and link it up over on the iSpy Sketches blog.Please provide a direct link to your post - not the generic link to your blog.
• A new challenge will be posted every Friday at 12.01 AM EST, and you have until noon on Wednesday EST to submit your entry.
• You may enter as many times as you like, but please provide a newly designed project with a new link for each additional project.
• We will choose the top 2 creations to be featured in our "Top 2 Thursday" post where we will announce who we have picked :) The winners will receive their very own iSpy Sketches blog badge!
• Don't forget that you may combine our challenges with others and use supplies from any company that you wish :)
• Have fun and we look forward to "spying:" your creations!
