It's time for another challenge over at the Ribbon Carousel Challenge blog and I have the honor of being the Guest Designer this month! Laurel is using this gorgeous photo from Shelley B Home and Holiday to inspire our creations for this week’s Ribbon Carousel Challenge (RCC25).
Here what I was inspired to make by this pretty little picture:
I used the Whimsie Doodles Witchy Girl image and colored her up with copics. I matted the image with some PTI orange zest and black CS. I hand drew that big 'ol spider web in black and then went over the lines with a clear star Gelly Roll pen to give it a bit of shimmer. It didn't photograph well, but it looks cool in person. I used some of the Ribbon Carousel's black 5/8" sheer ruffled edge ribbon to embellish, of course!
This week, we’re giving away one $10 Gift Certificate from RibbonCarousel.com to one lucky random participant! Head on over to the Ribbon Carousel's Challenge Blog to check out what the DT has cooked up to inspire you and then link up your creation for a chance to win! Don't forget that you must use some ribbon, baker's twine, of jute twine (anything that comes on a spool) to play along! If you love things that come on a spool, swing by the Ribbon Carousel Online Store and take a peek at all the goodness for sale!
