This is my second post of the day so if you are here for the Paper and Such sneek peak of Molly from their exclusive line of chicken stamps and a chance to win the set, scroll down or click HERE!
I seem to be on a roll with getting requests for invitations lately. I just wrapped up a time consuming order for hand colored wedding invitations that you can see HERE. The bride is one of the nicest people on this planet so she was well worth the effort! I no sooner finished those and got an order for invitation for a baby boy's 1st birthday. I only had to make 15 so this was much less overwhelming! I used the Clean and Simple Stamping sketch #151 for inspiration
I used Microsoft Word to print the wording of the invitation on this cute gingham digi paper from the Trixie Scraps Gingham Goodness Digital Scrapbooking paper pack. I paired it with PTI dark chocolate, harvest gold, and kraft card stock. I used a PTI By The Numbers die to die cut that #1. I found yet another way to get some of my favorite baker's twine onto my project! That is cappuccino baker's twine from the Twinery which is now available in the Paper and Such Online Store is all sorts of colors! A button embellie finishes it off!
This is so cute Kim. I don't know how you find the time to do all these cards. You DO sleep, right?
ReplyDeleteYour invitation is so cute, love the paper and the baker's twine - we don't seem to have that here in Australia yet, or maybe just not in the shops I go to.

This is DARLING! I love the number, the twine, and the button.... and the way you tied it is perfect, I need lessons! LOL! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the invite. Colors are great. The baker's twine is the perfect embellishment for it.
