Hello Friend

I love getting up at the crack of dawn while the house is still quiet and the chaos of the day has yet to begin.  It is my favorite time of day to get some crafting done.  This morning I decided to play along with the Ribbon Carousel Challenge #8 which is to use your favorite coloring medium (Copics, of course!) and I combined it with the Saturday Sketch Challenge #160.

I used this cute digi image by C.C. Designs called Cherry Emma and decided to let her sit on the bottom edge of the oval panel so that her legs could dangle.  Here are the copics I used to color the image:

And here's the sketch:

Stamps:  C.C. Designs Cherry Emma, sentiment from Verve Stamps Hope Blooms stamp set  Ink:  SU Rich Razzleberry  CS:  PTI kraft, white, ocean tides, and scarlet jewel  DSP:  My Mind's Eye Lime Twist Happy Go Lucky
Tools:  nestabilities ovals, 1.5" circle punch, 1.75" circle punch, Martha Stewart border punch   Accessories:  PTI scarlet jewel twill ribbon

  1. I love how you made her legs dangle at the bottom of the oval! I love your colors too and how you have that raspberry color tying everything together.

  4. I'm very impressed with this as I usually try very hard to still be asleep at the crack of dawn and if I am awake there's no way I would actually be CREATIVE at that hour! Once again, I am in awe of your coloring. This is such a sweet card.
